LIFE Ebro Resilience P1 is presented in a new professional forum to explain its proposals and actions .The Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos invited the Project to the conference “Response to extraordinary risks”, which was held in Madrid on April 27th.
This activity was part of the ThinkHub of the Caminos Foundation to contribute to the knowledge of the risks arising from the occurrence of catastrophes and to analyze and discuss the role of engineering in the prevention of damage to people and infrastructures.
Therefore, the Resilience presentation focused on flood risk management through green infrastructures and adaptation measures, as well as on the commitment to the recovery of river space.
For Ebro Resilience, the day served as an interesting exchange of experiences and networking among professionals.
The presentation was made on behalf of the project partners, the head of the Environmental Management Area of the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation, Lorenzo Polanco, and the project coordinator for Tragsatec, Eduardo Murillo.
