In addition to the stable participation groups that have been running for over a year and the activities for different sectors included in the capacity building plan, the project has launched these months the first actions of assistance and open participation, expanding the public and involvement with the LIFE proposals.

Both the participation plan and the proposals to increase social capabilities and knowledge about floods have teachers and other educational profiles as a key sector. During this time the meander of La Roza, in Alfaro, has been recovered as a river space and has generated a new protected area in La Rioja and more than 40 participatory actions have been carried out, most of them related to new forms of involvement of the population that represent a milestone at European level.
