Both the participation plan and the proposals to increase social capabilities and knowledge about floods have teachers and other educational profiles as a key sector. For this reason, specific actions are started with them, such as the one aimed at analyzing the material that is being prepared for schoolchildren.
On November 9, the technical representatives of the project met, through the stable participation groups (the co-creation groups), with members of the educational community of section 1 of the Project, Alfaro (La Rioja) – Castejón (Navarra).
In the session, the first of those planned with other centers in the intervention areas, and which was held at IES Castejón, they analyzed together the proposal of didactic units of the Project and the educational kits that are already being developed by the team of participation and development of capacities of the LIFE Project.
The contributions and involvement of the riparian population help to meet the objectives of the Project in terms of increasing society’s knowledge about floods and the solutions proposed for the Ebro River.
